Nashville tree specialist congratulates TN Secretary of State for efforts to promote local businesses

Nashville, Tennessee, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) February 9, 2012 -- The Tennessee Secretary of State Tre Hargett, has launched a program aimed at highlighting local businesses on the State’s website, a move local business owner Flavio Martinez said is commendable.

“I congratulate the (Tennessee) Secretary of State for spotlighting local businesses on their website. It is very helpful especially for small local businesses that are struggling to attract more clients or customers. Last week, Secretary of State Hargett announced the launching of the “Tennessee Business Spotlight” aimed at highlighting the successes of small and medium sized businesses around the state.

“The Secretary of State’s office comes in contact with every LLP, LLC and corporation conducting business in Tennessee. As an organization that processes over 730,000 transactions each year, we are excited about the opportunity to spotlight a few of Tennessee’s businesses”, the Secretary of State’s office said on the website at http://tnsos.net/publications/spotlight.

The website said the business spotlight idea was developed to raise awareness of local businesses helping their local communities.

“Our Tennessee Business Spotlight was developed to raise awareness about companies that produce quality products, contribute to their local communities and employ Tennesseans. Each month, a handful of firms will be profiled on our website highlighting Tennessee’s wide range of manufacturers, food producers and service providers,” the Secretary’s website continued.

Kaily Tree Service’s Flavio Martinez said local businesses are often left to fend for themselves but this program by the State should help in no small way to push these local businesses forward.

“Any help small businesses can receive from the government is most welcome. Out there you are on your own most of the time so this is really helpful,” he added.
