Nation's Emerging Christian Latino Business Association convenes Quarterly Black-Latino Roundtable
The Latino Breakfast Club hosts its Quarterly meeting of the "Black-Latino Roundtable", Saturday May 15, 2010 in Chicago, Illinois.

The Nation's emerging Christian Latino Business Association, The Latino Breakfast Club, will convene its quarterly meeting of the "Black-Latino Roundtable." The mission of the Latino Breakfast Club is to be the bridge that connects faith (in Christ) to the marketplace. The "Black-Latino Roundtable" was initiated in 2006. Its purspose is to bring together Latino & Aftrican American entrepreneurs under the cross of Christ for dialogue, relationship building and fellowship in a very "real & powerful" context.
This meeting will convene in Chicago, Illinois on Saturday May 15, 2010 at Cafe El Meson (www.elmesonminsitry.com), 4631 S. Kedzie Avenue in the "Upper Room" on the 2nd floor. Bible Study will be led by Brother Brad Bacon of Hard Rock Concrete Cutters and begin promptly at 7:15 am.
Tentative scheduled speakers are: Illinois State Representative Marlow Colvin, David Smith of the Illinois Family Institute and Pastor Victor M. Ortiz of Faith Alliance, Des Plaines, Illinois.
The topics to be discussed are as follows: Lawsuit filed by Dunnet Bay Construction against State of Illinois DOT DBE Program, Proposed Video Gambling legislation in the Chicago City Council and the building of a new casino in Des Plaines, Illinois.
In particular to be discussed will be how do Marketplace place leaders, followers of Christ in the marketplace respond to each of these situations as directed by the Scriptures in the Holy Bible.
Since its inception, the "Black-Latino Roundtable" has expanded its influence to include not only Latino & African American entrepreneurs but also Anglo and Asian entrepreneurs as well as government & ministry leaders.
