Minneapolis, MN — December 7, 2011:

National Insurance Marketing organization, AimcoR Group LLC, recently announced that John C. Ziambras, CLU, has assumed their top executive position as President and CEO. His strategic vision, methodical management style, and proven track record will help AimcoR continue its steady path towards becoming a formidable independent national marketing organization. Prior to assuming his responsibilities with AimcoR, Mr. Ziambras spent a few years overseas as the Chief Financial and Administrative Officer at the American Farm School in Thessaloniki, Greece, his native land. There he oversaw the financial and administrative management of all divisions of the institution; including a Secondary School, the Dimitris Perrotis College, the Secondary School and the Educational Farm.

Before moving overseas, Mr. Ziambras’s expansive industry experience encompassed being Managing Director and General Manager of the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC)’s Insurance and Retirement Services division. Earlier, John was Vice President of National Accounts for Prudential Select Brokerage, a division of the Prudential Financial, Inc, and prior to this, he managed the National Insurance Consulting Practice of KPMG LLP in New York City. He began his business career as a registered representative and sales manager with Northwestern Mutual Life and New York Life.

During an introductory call with AimcoR’s Equity Partners, Mr. Ziambras stated, “One of our key strategic goals will be to work with our product manufacturing, technology and other industry partners in offering creative, unique, efficient and profitable services on a national level, and to lead the way in facilitating the delivery of protection and retirement products to today’s and tomorrow’s consumers.”

Mr. Ziambras graduated from Princeton University with a degree in Economics and has also served frequently as a speaker and panelist at industry conferences. He is well-known as an expert with both local and national groups associated with professional and high-net-worth individuals on personal financial planning and insurance issues.
