National Martial Arts Champ Teaches Business Owners the Science of Skill Development and Goal Setting in Business

Wakefield, Rhode Island, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) January 3, 2012 -- Every Tuesday night from 7:00 to 8:15 PM there is something unique happening on the Robinson Street location of University Business Consultants. Business owners and sales people are sitting down to hear business advice from a seemingly unlikely source – Wakefield, RI native and National Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Champion, Daniel Faggella.

“The Science of Skill in Sales and Professional Presenting” is a class unique to the UBC, a class solely dedicated to building sales and presenting related skills – but with a martial arts twist. The emphasis is on the mindset and the science behind building business skills.

The idea is that anyone can learn the tips and tricks of internet lead generation, but how can they further develop that skill out of the business classroom? Dan goes into the algorithm for improvement after each business segment, which includes factors of “master coaching” and “deliberate practice.”

Mr. Faggella – age 24 – draws from his experience as a business owner (he opened the Black Diamond Mixed Martial Arts Academy in Rhode Island 2 years ago), his experiences competing at the national level in martial arts, and his UPENN graduate school education, concentrating in goal setting and skill development.

Dan's “Science of Skill” course will run each Tuesday through February 28th. The UBC welcomes visitors from all over the state to come by and learn about business in a whole new way.
