Chairs seminar to discuss the Obama "blueprint" to subvert the Constitution
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) May 14, 2010 --
NASHVILLE, Tennessee (May 14, 2010) – Author and Senior Fellow for the Family Research Council will be chairing a track and reviewing his book, "The Blueprint: Obama's Plan to Subvert the Constitution and Build an Imperial Presidency" where he will discuss the impact of the Obama administration's march towards a consolidation of federal government power.
Ken Blackwell, noted conservative leader and Washington, D.C.-based constitutional attorney provides an urgently needed book about President Barack Obama’s blueprint to centralize power in the White House, subvert the Constitution, and transform the United States of America into a militant, secular welfare state dominated by an overbearing central government.
During this track, the author will identify and discuss more than twenty tactics being taken by the Obama administration to restructure the country and ensure perpetual liberal rule—such as changing voting laws, politicizing the census, coercing corporations into adopting its policies, planning to destroy talk radio, and seeking to make millions of illegal aliens into voting citizens. By means both sharp and subtle, President Obama aims to change Americans’ views about government, liberty, and even God.
Ken Blackwell commented, "This administration, while like so many before it, is moving to consolidate power at a pace never before seen in American history. I felt that my participation in this convention would allow me to further the dialogue with people in the Tea Party movement while providing a perspective not generally shared in the main stream media."
Judson Philips, Founder and President of Tea Party Nation said, “Ken Blackwell offers a pithy and succinct view of this administration and why Obama may be the most disruptive president's in this nation's history. We are honored that he would share his views during this convention and are certain the delegates will find his commentary insightful and direct."
Ken Blackwell is the Senior Fellow for Family Empowerment at the Family Research Council. He serves on the board of directors of the Club for Growth and the National Taxpayers Union. He is also a member of the public affairs committee of the NRA. Mr. Blackwell is a columnist for the New York Sun, a contributing editor for the conservative news and opinion site townhall.com, and a frequent public affairs commentator for the Salem Radio Network.
Filmmaker Stephen K. Bannon who premiered "Generation Zero" at the Nashville Convention and one of the co-founders of the National Tea Party Federation stated, "Ken Blackwell is one of the most prominent conservative voices in our country today. His book on the "Blueprint" is a primer as to what Obama has done to our country and what we need to do to change his policies. We are extremely excited to have Ken speak at our convention."
His public service includes terms as Mayor of Cincinnati, Undersecretary at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, and U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Human Rights Commission, In 1994, he became the first African-American elected to a statewide executive office in Ohio when he was elected Treasurer of state. He subsequently was elected Secretary of State, and in 2006, was the Republican nominee for Governor.
