On October 17th, 2009 media outlets around the nation will be targeted with protests by citizen groups organized in response to an appeal by Conservative Talk Show Hosts, RUSH LIMBAUGH and GLENN BECK.
Operation Can You Hear Us Now is a grassroots organization formed by an anonymous conservative activist to stage nationwide media protests. Media bias has been the topic of much debate recently due to the reporting discrepancies concerning the 9/12 March on Washington, D.C.
Additionally, widespread failure of the Main Stream Media to cover the ACORN scandal as it was breaking added fuel to the fire of this grassroots movement.
The website http://www.operationcanyouhearusnow.com is the focal point of the event. Here, citizens can register their event and connect with others interested in planning an event in their locale. Also, Sons of Liberty Riders (as featured on FOX NEWS on Sept. 12th, 2009) will be partnering up for this event. Hundreds of motorcycle riders will be attending individual rallies throughout the US as well.
CNN Atlanta and NYC News outlets are shaping up to be major events.
