NDR-105EOD Bomb Jammer in Middle East

New York City has been inflicted with another act of terrorism with the recent news of a car bomb attack in Times Square. According to The New York Times, a car bomb made from propane, gasoline and fireworks was found in a Nissan Pathfinder SUV. Faisal Shahzad was found to be the alleged suspect, and was arrested at John F. Kennedy International Airport. “Bombs, or explosive devices/IED that can be detonated by a remote control device have become the major weapon used by international terrorism groups. With the threat of terrorist attacks, Bomb jamming technology is being employed to make the world a safer place.” said Jared Ring, NDR Bomb Specialist, former NYPD Bomb Technician.



NDR recently supported our customer and completed the training of NDR-105EOD portable jamming systems in the Middle East. 10 units of NDR-105EOD portable jammers with accessories were delivered to our customer in April, 2010. “We are happy to see more and more NDR RCIED jamming solutions are being used by international government agencies. The recent delivery of 10 units NDR-105EOD portable jamming systems to a Middle Eastern government agency client increases the safety level in the region.” said Peter Hewitt, NDR Senior Vice President.

NDR are pleased to introduce our NDR-105EOD jamming system, a fully portable and very versatile high power jammer with jamming coverage over 150 meters, designed for easy transportation and operation by Police and Military Security Forces, EOD, VIP protection as well as S.W.A.T. units in countering terrorist and drug trafficking activities. and confirm the completion of another delivery along with training in the Middle-East last week. This again demonstrates that NDR are at the forefront of IED defeat systems and technologies. The NDR-105 EOD jammer operates from its internal battery, or it can be operated from a mains AC power source or mobile generator.



The NDR-105EOD jammer is equipped with special military antennas to avoid RF leakage (which would cause loss of power output) and the remote control supplied with the NDR-105EOD provides the ability to operate the jammer from a distance of 25 meters.
