Nehita CEO, Monalisa Okojie spent the weekend at the Silver Rose Gala

Henson, Robin Thicke, Christina Milian, Tatyana Ali, Ty Pennington, Omarosa, John Salley, Ana Garcia, Terri Seymour, Sallie Richardson Whitfield, Wendy Raquel Robinson and many more all in support of the Jenesse Center to raise awareness and funds to help families that have been victims of domestic violence.

From April 16-18, the Jenesse Center hosted its annual Silver Rose Weekend, "For a Perfect World", to acknowledge and honor individuals whose commitment to stop domestic violence has greatly contributed to the cause of providing a better world for all.

This year’s theme was HOPE, stating there is hope for everyone who believes. Monalisa created a signature ‘HOPE’ piece especially for this event, which incorporates the motto “there is hope, hope = you.”

With an increase of domestic violence cases within the United States as well as globally, Monalisa was honored to be a part of the Silver Rose Weekend, to join others in order to raise awareness of this issue.
