NEIU’s Ensemble Espanol to Hold Auditions for Grade and High School Student Dancers

Chicago, Illinois, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) September 8, 2010 -- Chicago’s Ensemble Espanol Spanish Dance Youth Company, in residence at Northeastern Illinois University, will hold auditions for student dancers in grades 5 through 12. Immediate positions are available.

Scholarships are valued at $12,000 and include:
• Training with Founder and Artistic Director Libby Komaiko
• Training with guest artists from Spain and the U.S.
• National and international touring opportunities
• University scholarship opportunities
• Scholarship to the American Spanish Dance Festival

Registration for grade school students begins at 5 p.m.; auditions begin at 6 p.m.
Registration for high school students begins at 7 p.m.; auditions begin at 8 p.m.

Please bring a head shot and/or resume. Dancers may also perform a two minute work. Be prepared to stay several hours if necessary.
