NELLO CUCINA HOSTS “YOUR CHOICE FOR THE OSCARS” BENEFITING CYSTIC FIBROSIS FEB 26

Nello Cucina, an Italian restaurant situated on the lobby level of South Coast Plaza’s tony Crystal Court, will host “Your Choice For The Oscars” benefiting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Southern California on Sunday, February 26. Large screens situated throughout the restaurant will capture Hollywood’s most celebrated night of the year from the red carpet arrivals beginning at 5 p.m. until the Best Picture Oscar is announced at 9 p.m. The public is invited to the fundraiser whose $25 ticket price includes a 3-course buffet dinner featuring Caesar and Nello Cucina’s house salads; Fusilli Pasta with Pesto & Chicken and Penne Pasta Primavera (julienne veggies in a tomato sauce); and assorted desserts including profiteroles, fruit tortes and crème brulee.

Heightening the fun will be Oscar-related trivia contests during commercial breaks (correct answers earn guests gift cards) and guests may cast their own ballots in 14 categories with the winner receiving dinner for 4 at either Antonello Ristorante, Quattro or Nello Cucina. Ballots must be completed and turned in to officials at Nello Cucina no later than 6 p.m. on Oscar night. Ballots are $10 and there is no limit on the number that can be submitted; all proceeds will be donated to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is the nation's leading organization dedicated to curing and controlling the debilitating lung condition that affects an estimated 30,000 Americans. The nonprofit also seeks to improve the quality of life of those with the disease.
