Neste Oil share their view on the future of European refining

Ms Salmenpohja explains further, “As a complex refiner and with focus on diesel production Neste Oil is well positioned. Neste Oil's cleaner traffic strategy is focused on developing and producing premium-quality fuels that have a lower level of impact on the environment”.

Clear production strategy and focus for European refiners will remain key in a market where they will “keep facing severe competition from the Middle Eastern and Asian companies starting new complex refineries and exporting their surpluses to Europe or to traditional European export markets, such as the US East Coast”.

Heli Salmenpohja will be speaking about Neste Oil’s view on the Europe’s refining future with other leading refiners including Total, Shell, BP, Eni, MOL Group among others at the 13th Annual European Fuels Conference, 13 – 16 March in Paris.
