Las Vegas--
Colin Haynes and Mark Medina of the Nevada Secretary of State began investigating a Las Vegas woman, Elizabeth DeMaria, based on a complaint filed by an ex boyfriend Christopher Arreola. Arreola was fired from DeMaria's start up company , The Vegas Channel.
DeMaria who was raising money for her start up company, The Vegas Channel, approached investors to cover expenses for her production costs until a major funding source came through on July 2006 and the investors would be paid back.
DeMaria then used the money she raised for production costs and marketing for The Vegas Channel.
Haynes and Medina's investigation went on for two years with DeMaria fully cooperating. DeMaria was able to provide tangible proof of where the investor's dollars were spent with regard to her company.
Haynes, the lead Investigator, began his unethical practices by calling and making personal visits to all of DeMaria's advertisers and friends and contacts telling each of them that she was under investigation for securities fraud. He further practiced his misconduct by badgering investors to complain against her, illegally obtaining bank documents, creating false accusations against DeMaria and Haynes overzealous behavior in attempting to impress his superiors for further advancement of his career at the cost of DeMaria's reputation and company.
A preliminary hearing will be taking place in July of 2010 and all evidence that has been gathered against Haynes and Medina will be used in order for DeMaria to file complaints against both Medina and Haynes in order to remove them from their positions at The Nevada Secretary of State.
DeMaria is determined to help any further victims from having their name or company smeared by false accusations and corrupt behavior of Haynes and Medina in order for the Nevada Secretary of State to appear as diligently going after individuals that appear to have facilitated Securites Fraud.
DeMaria was immediately released on bail of $66,000.00 and her powerful legal team will expose the corrupt practices of both Medina and Haynes with regard to her case.
DeMaria is determined to help anyone else avoid the threat of Haynes and Medina's corrupt and unethical behaviors while practicing under the Nevada Secretary of State's employ.
Anyone who feels that they have received unethical or corrupt treatment by Colin Haynes and/or Mark Medina are encouraged to file a complaint with Local Law Enforcement , Internal Investigations , Nevada Secretary of State and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
