New Aisha Orazbayeva album features Peter Zinovieff, production from Eno-collaborator Leo Abrahams and Race Horses frontman

(Free-Press-Release.com) November 15, 2011 -- With the help of producer Leo Abrahams , who has worked closely with Brian Eno, Jarvis Cocker, Imogen Heap and among others, Orazbayeva created a vivd, radical version of Sciarrino's Six Caprices , which moves seamlessly between various recording environments including a church, a warehouse, a studio, and a bus stop. Input also came from Meilyr Jones , of Welsh band Race Horses .

Another highlight is a new work for violin and electronics called 'Our', composed and realised with synth pioneer Peter Zinovieff , which was recently featured on The Wire magazine's Adventures in Modern Music series. Zinovieff is well known as the inventor of the famous VCS III synthesiser used by bands such as Pink Floyd, The Who, and Roxy Music.

A Guardian critic last year described Orazbayeva's programming as "brilliantly adventurous...She made Sciarrino's music seem present, embodied, and exciting".
