In the center of the storm there exists a place of refuge. Having withstood the burden of natural disasters, devastation and loss, the families of Alabama welcome the launch of New Birth Birmingham as a beacon of light and a restorer of hope.

The current Refiners House Church will officially change its name to New Birth Birmingham, and become the 9th church plant for the New Birth Atlanta family.

Bishop Eddie Long, Senior Pastor of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church stated, “I am pleased and honored to welcome Refiners House into the New Birth family.” Long continued, “New Birth will continue to expand, and remains deeply committed to operating with a relevant Kingdom ministry.”

Refiners House Senior Pastor Rev. Stephen A. Davis stated, “We are excited about becoming New Birth Birmingham and pledge to represent the New Birth Family well.”

Refiners House has more than 3000 members. It is located at 117 12th Court Northwest in

Birmingham, Alabama. The expansion of New Birth into Birmingham, continues the ongoing vision of New Birth to Love, Live, and Lead like Christ. Together we are committed, we are compassionate, We are New Birth.
