New book guides readers to an inner world of personal spiritual truth

Hain Wiemer of Seward, Neb., is a modern-day mystic who believes her assignment is to bring comfort and peace into the world by helping others connect to their inner spiritual truth, their “inner maker,” as Wiemer calls it. Her new book, “Jesus, the Ordinary Man,” is intended to help readers understand Jesus, one of the world’s most influential religious figures, as an ordinary man, a human being with the full range of human emotions. Published by Amanuent Press in Lincoln, Neb., the book presents its message in a mixture of verse and narrative.

Much of Wiemer’s writing is inspired by dreams and visions, and portions of the 80-page book are written using the persona “The Queen of the Realm,” which reflects Wiemer’s own “inner maker.”

“I was also inspired by my father, a deeply spiritual man, and the journal he kept while he fought cancer,” Wiemer said. “One gift that my father gave me was unconditional love. He gave that to me and to every person he met. And that gave me the freedom to find my inner maker, to find my passion in life. With this book, I try to help others do the same,” she said.
