Henderson, Nevada, November 2,, 2011. A recent article appearing in the Las Vegas Review -Journal, Wednesday, October 30, 2011 reflected some prominent relationships to the story in "Sleeper Cell." The Novel released in October, 2009 crosses the boundary between fiction and reality, merging our post 9/11 world with that of a terrifying, apocalyptic future. The story involves a Venture Capitalist and a "Sleeper Cell," an agent placed into the country, not to undertake an immediate mission, but to activate at a later point in time. The book encompasses the venture capital and financial needs for infrastructure financing and desalination planning. The news article read:
"SEEKING A PLAN WORTH ITS SALT, Water authority touts pipeline while foes take an ocean view.
Water : Desalination logistics, costs appear daunting even to pipeline foes” The State of Nevada, presumably will conduct hearings on the feasibility of investing money on desalination plants instead of spending billions of dollars to pump and pipe rural Nevada groundwater to Las Vegas.
The novel discusses the need for an"Infrastructure Bank" to finance needed construction and maintenance of roads, bridges, water and sewer systems, waste reclamation plants, transportation systems, alternative energy start ups, water desalination, wind and solar power projects. It gives examples of houses sinking into mine shafts in Pittsburgh, antiquated municipal water and sewer systems, the bridge collapse in Minnesota, the future need for water desalination systems, automobiles enveloped by sinkholes and expected problems of older infrastructures throughout the world. The book is currently being offered internationally on book selling sites in the United States, United Kingdom, France, Canada, Germany, India, Liberia, Australia, Spain, New Zealand, Ireland, Italy, Bulgaria, Finland, Hong Kong, Copenhagen, The Netherlands, Japan and Portugal.
