New "Brave Hearts" Program Donated $5400 in Free Photos to Purple Heart Recipients

In just Four Weeks MVP Studios Donates 143 Photo Packages to U.S. Marines with the Purple Heart or medals for valor such as the Bronze Star.

United States of America -- Free-Press-Release.com-- Feb 4, 2010 -- Temecula, CA-December 24th, 2009. MVP Studios announced last month that they would be donating free photo packages to U.S. Marines who have received the Purple Heart for being wounded in combat or those who have received a medal for valor. The MVP Studios Brave Hearts Program far exceeded everyone's expectations according to Andy Stockglausner, President of MVP Studios. "When we decided to start the program we had no idea how many packages we would be donating, we were very excited when we did the final count and saw that we reached 143 packages donated to these brave Marines", said Stockglausner.

The combined value of the packages was over $5400 donated in a 4 week period. MVP Studios is a Marine Corps Ball photographer who photographed 30 Marine Corps Balls between October 22nd and November 20th. All packages were donated at Marine Corps Balls photographed by MVP Studios. Marine Corps Balls are held annually to celebrate the Marine Corps Birthday, which is November 10th.

Stockglausner explained, "I had to show my staff what medals to look for on the Marines' chests at the events, but they were pretty easy to spot because they are placed on the top row at or near the very beginning of the medals" Stockglausner continued, "They did a great job finding these deserving Marines, I am very proud of my staff". Initially the program was going to be just for Purple Heart recipients, but when Stockglausner noticed a Marine at the first Ball with a Bronze Star with a "V" for Valor, he decided to extend the program to all medals for valor as well. "Those who have been wounded or someone who has earned a medal for valor in combat deserves a whole lot more than just a free photo package in my opinion" said Stockglausner, "It is the least we can do."

Stockglausner is a former Marine having served from 1993-1997 at Camp Pendleton. "I did not see any combat during my time in the Corps so I can only imagine what these Marines are going through", said Stockglausner, "I am just glad we can honor them in this small way".

In the next few weeks MVP Studios will be announcing the expansion of this program to donate free family photo packages to those who meet the same criteria. Stockglausner stated, "I am really excited to announce the full MVP Studios Brave Hearts Program in the coming weeks, we will be doing family photos completely for free." The Brave Hearts program will provide free family photos to Veterans with the Purple Heart or medals for valor of a Bronze Star or above with the Valor device, which indicates heroic acts in combat. “We will be providing the family photo sessions completely for free and every Service Member participating will receive a CD with all of their full resolution images with a complete copyright release”, Stockglausner said, “It is a very valuable package for very deserving Veterans”. The Brave Hearts program will be open to members of all the Armed Forces.
