One of the shop’s greatest assets, its abundance of tools, has also made it a little bit difficult for some workers as employees have more equipment to learn and become familiar with.

Car Clinic also devotes a lot of their time to educating their employees. Technicians Service Training, an educational not-for-profit based out of Mahopac, holds classes at their facility once a month. Jerry Truglia of Automotive Technician Training Services also holds weekly training at the facility. So, this means not only early mornings but late nights for the employees.

"It's worth it," Craig said concerning the training. "Cars change every year. You train or you evaporate. We train so we can do what is right for your vehicle."

The shop has looked for innovative ways to attract clientele, and has made use of modern technology. People can text
