There are thousands of Federal agency (COTR) personnel in very remote areas of our nation, such as the Forest Service, or those that work for the Department of Justice at remote federal prisons (like UNICOR employees) that require FAC-COTR training as mandated by law.

As of today, August 3rd, 2011, they can obtain courses and CLP credits through our TAI program of one-on-one instructor to student online training at reduced course pricing for the hours needed.

This program is the same exact program we teach on-site to government agencies and also at our public course offerings. It contains the same FAI criteria and Blueprint objectives except that students are not under pressure to both work, and sit in class with the stress of taking an exam that is pass or fail.

Our program is similar unique, in that, we send COTR course materials to each student pre-paid with this program for them to study, read reference material, and as questions arise, providing back-and-forth email response training by one of our assigned instructors who will either by email or on the telephone discuss issues pertaining to the course materials with the student.

At the end of the course materials, each student will review a summary of the material, and then take a short course examination on their own which is multiple choice. The exam is accomplished at home or at the office (under a no stress environment) and at their own pace, but within a reasonable deadline timeframe negotiated between the instructor and the student at the outset of training. Upon completion of the exam, the student will either 1) email in PDF format the scanned exam to the instructor, or 2) mail the exam back to TAI for grading.

Upon grading of exams with a passing score of 70, the student will be issued an Acquisition Institute Certificate of training for the Continuous Learning Point credit hours spend in training.

Training via this method is cost effective, and enables federal employees to avoid travel and per diem expenses, as well as, the daily stress of attending classes and performing their regular duties.

Note: All courses must be fully pre-paid by credit card or government purchase card. Students that fail the initial exam will be given a "wait" period of 30 days between exams with one extra chance to retake the exam with a passing score. During that time, the assigned instructor will provide the student will 23/7 email Q&A support to enable them to pass the exam.
