NEPHL Franchise to call Salem ICEnter Home

Salem, NH------Today at a press conference held at the Salem ICEnter in the Town of Salem, NH, the NEPHL welcomed the New England Pharaohs to the Salem ICEnter for the inaugural season. With a capacity of 2,400 the PHARAOHS look to rule the NEPHL!

The PHARAOHS also made personnel announcements to their new fans today. Brendan Tedstone, Vice President/Director of Hockey Operations for SRZ Sports LLC, announced that Mark Richards will be the franchise's first head coach. In his statement to the many people in attendance at the facility, he spoke about Richards and expressed that "his enthusiasm and experience" were the main focus of hiring the new head coach. Richards has coached at a similar level and has tons of contacts from his coaching and playing experience. Two players were also announced on the teams NEPHL protected list. They are Dan Hickman, a stellar Defenseman from last season's Danbury Mad Hatters in the EPHL, and the highly entertaining Jason Michelson also from last season's Danbury Mad Hatters team. Hickman played college hockey at the nearby Southern New Hampshire University. Michelson is well known as a tough and much feared competitor with the ability put fans on their feet and opponents on their seats.

The PHARAOHS also made the announcement that they have partnered with The Mansfield Group, a sales and marketing company based out of Woburn, MA to handle the sales and marketing for not only the PHARAOHS, but for the entire league as well. This will enable the NEPHL to offer league wide marketing in the North East to businesses that want to expand and reach the many different markets available.

The PHARAOHS will play 22 home games, with the NEPHL Regular Season starting on November 6, 2009. On opening night at the Salem ICEnter the team will provide the first 500 people in attendance a gift from the PHARAOHS.
