New fungicide JS399 in China

(Free-Press-Release.com) February 21, 2011 -- On 25 Dec. 2010, Jiangsu Pesticide Research Institute Co., Ltd. (JPRI) organized a news conference for new fungicide in Nanjing.

JS399, also 2-cyano-3-amino-3-phenylacrylic acetate, is a highly effective fungicide with new structure and unique function has developed by JPRI since 2001. JS399 is a novel and efficient fungicide with national patent (Patent No: ZL200410014097.8). It protects both cures wheat scab (Gibberella zeae) and rice bakanae disease (Gibberella fujikuroi) efficiently. JS399 is registered to be used for wheat and rice.

The patents for JS399 had been issued in China in Aug. 2004. JS399 technical and 25% SC had obtained Temporary Registration Certificate by the Ministry of Agricultry in Dec. 2007. After two years’ field trial, 25% JS399 SC (Jinghu®) will be on the market in China in Feb. 2011, said Manage Nie from JPRI. Manage Nie also revealed that this product would be promoted in Jiangsu, Shandong, Henan, Anhui, Hubei and Hebei. JPRI is planning to promote this product to the South China in the future.
