Chef Colin is a graduate of Chicago’s Cooking and Hospitality Institute. CHIC is a top supplier of some of the worlds top Chefs, bragging alumni such as Charley Trotter. Since 2007, Collin has been the Executive Sous Chef for the St. Francis Yacht Club in San Francisco. Colin’s talent, fresh ideas, recipes and enthusiasm bring a new personal touch to the single-location FiDi salad, soup and sandwich cafe. In 2000, Alison Rowe noticed there was no place to grab a quick bite and eat well at the same time in the financial district of San Francisco. She envisioned opening a retail cafe downtown with a healthy, gourmet, house-made and locally procured menu featuring warm, personal hospitality. After researching and refining the concept to focus on meal-size salads, based on similar restaurants in New York City, harvest & rowe Cafe opened at 55 Second Street in San Francisco on September 19, 2003.
