The Catalyst is an album that suits the artist and the man Paul Pontillo A.K.A Sinergyst.

Born in Bridgeport, CT December 28th 1984, Sinergyst was influenced by the hip hop industry from an early age. Growing up as the Hip Hop genre was building its empire. He began writing poetry at an early age for school projects and every essay that he completed always had rhymes and a story line type of theme. He began writing songs when he was around fourteen but never really did anything with them. When he was around Sixteen Sinergyst and his lifelong friend Daniel A.K.A DJ Sensae started making music for fun. This Developed into a love for music that was unlike no other.
At the age of Eighteen He purchased his first recording equipment which consisted of a Korg D1200, and a microphone, which lead to the making of his first mixtape.

His first mixtape name “The Struggle” was created in 2006 and consisted of the story behind the man. “The Struggle” was distributed locally by family and friends and sold around 2,000 copies. After the creation of the struggle Sinergyst was very busy. He met a wonderful girl and brought a beautiful little girl into this world. “All the more reason to step it up” he said as he devolped the backbones to Fortified Records, LLC in 2009. With the help of DJ Sensae, Chris Pristas, Matt Mcguirk, and Surilo Aguilar the independent Record Label was born. Shortly after this, .chilling out in the studio with my friends., became a professional musical career for Sinergyst.

Sinergyst’s first two singles .Party GIrl. and .The New Chapter. blew up immediately on Myspace, and the Urban Street. Also Ranked under 1,000 out of 1.5 M on ILIKE.com
The buzz surrounding Sinergyst is now becoming a roar!

Adding to this, Sinergyst has had a great number of performances in 2009 at all
types of venues, big and small, including Toads Place.


The album The Catalyst has a number of noticeable features, one of which is
with the DJ Sensae. Another Vocalist that can be heard

with Sinergyst is Jess Mota on a couple of the tracks which include Playing with my mind, and Change.
Sinergyst recorded the single .Party Girl. With the intentions of getting a song for the clubs to play. A single which was on heavy rotation on Myspace
The New Chapter., Sinergyst’s latest single is an outright Song that describes the man behind the vocals and just like his first single it stirred a commotion.

Upon its release on June 8th 2010, we are hoping The Catalyst will gathered media attention at large, we are currently waiting for feedback from Vibe magazine, and Urban Streetz magazine, as well as local newspapers for publishing.

In 2010 we are hoping to achieve great recognition and build a fan base unlike no other. With the fresh new vocals and storylines behind the songs Sinergyst will have no problem attacking the hip hop industry full force.
