New Infinity Tier IV Data Centre Brings Unrivalled Uptime to London

(Free-Press-Release.com) November 4, 2009 -- Infinity will deliver Europe’s first Uptime Institute certified Tier IV data centre facility at the end of 2009. The facility is being constructed at the company’s Infinity TWO site at Romford and will meet the need for affordable and highly resilient data centre stock in the London area. The data centre is a joint initiative with IT solutions and services provider Computacenter.

Tier IV is the highest level of data centre classification awarded by the Uptime Institute and signifies Fault Tolerant design topology. It is generally selected by companies which have high availability requirements and for whom the cost of data centre downtime is profound, often measured in millions of dollars/pounds/euros.
