In 1947, Thermador introduced the first built-in oven which became a staple of the modern kitchen. It is hoped that the new steam oven that can defrost, steam, proof, bake, slow cook, and reheat will do the same. Steam cooking has many benefits including better taste, texture, and quality of food while at the same time it is healthier – retaining essential vitamins and nutrients.
