Chicago, IL - Today’s working parents are relying on professional nannies to provide in home childcare. While some families have always known that hiring a nanny would be the best option for their family, many parents are faced with this decision as maternity leave comes to an end. “Hiring a nanny can raise several questions for new parents and employers,” says Kristen Madison, President of Madison Staffing. “The number one question I’m asked is what type of training and qualifications should I look for in a nanny.”
Nannies today are experienced, but many lack the proper training on Child Development, Injury Prevention, Nutrition and Household Care. “You may be looking for a nanny with newborn experience as you head back to work after maternity leave, however as the child grows and changes so does his needs. Properly screening and identifying the needs of the family and nanny alike, are essential for finding the best nanny for your family,” says Kristen.
To help busy parents, Madison Staffing has created the first ever ‘Full Charge Nanny & Housekeeper Training Event’. The goal of this event is to provide nannies with the confidence and knowledge needed to properly care for children. A properly trained nanny can create a stimulating and nurturing environment for a young child’s needs.
“Today’s Nannies need to be trained and experienced in all areas,“ says Marta Perrone, 2009 Mom’s Choice Winner and industry training expert. “Becoming a full charge nanny and presenting yourself professionally trained to a family is vital.” Marta will be training attendees on Household Training & Career Development. Nanny Training will be provided by educator Carolyn Stulberg, founder and Executive Director of Alexandria School in Ohio.
Attendees who complete the training will receive a Certificate of Training, Training Guide & DVD, and Job Seekers Will Receive a follow up Complimentary Career Consultation from Madison Staffing.
The training event takes place in Chicago on Saturday, March 17, 2012. To learn more about this event and to purchase tickets, visit www.madisonstaffingcorp.com/training
