A New Year move to new premises looks like being good for business for Jackie Pearson
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) January 7, 2012 --
One of the region’s leading wellbeing therapists has noticed a steady increase in new clients over the past few months which she attributes to increasingly high levels of stress amongst public sector workers and uncertainty in the current economic climate.
With Government cuts, redundancies and growing unemployment figures, Jackie Pearson believes that more and more people are seeking help to counter the pressures of potential unemployment by using alternative forms of treatment.

http://www.highlightspr.co.uk Jackie runs Alternative Perceptions, a wellbeing service which has just moved into IMSL House nestled neatly and aptly between the busy South Gosforth roundabout and the large public sector Government offices at Longbenton . The tranquil treatment rooms are a world away from the hustle and bustle of city life, a fact that’s not lost on her clientele.
“My clients have a range of reasons for seeking treatment,” said Jackie, “People say things like I’m stuck in a rut, I don’t know where to turn and use metaphors such as I feel like I’m treading water and feeling trapped on a hamster’s wheel are often used to describe a person’s state of mind. I’ve noticed an incredible difference in the number of public sector workers coming to me for advice and treatment. ”
Using a range of therapeutic touch treatments such as Reiki, Reflexology, and Indian Head massage, as well as talking therapies, Jackie uses the appropriate techniques and treatments to help her clients reduce stress levels and steer them forward with a renewed sense of direction.
Jackie’s passion for the healing effects of therapeutic touch stemmed from her own experiences of ill health. Reluctant to take prescribed medication for her condition, she began looking into alternative treatments and therapy. That was over twenty years ago. Jackie started studying how people became ill, and more importantly how they can help themselves get and stay well.
“My Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) coaching can help people decide what they want, and how they are going to get it. People become more focused, giving them a sense of clarity as to where they are going in life. People are amazed to find that there are a range of alternative treatments which can help them, whether the condition is emotional, spiritual, mental or physical. I treat each individual uniquely by using integrated energy healing techniques with NLP coaching.”
As well as carrying out treatments, Jackie is also keen to teach, especially Reiki Healing, relaxation and breathing techniques. She is highly qualified in NLP techniques and regularly coaches others. Many of Jackie’s clients have used the techniques she shares to achieve specific life goals as well as addressing problems such as depression, anxiety, illnesses, habits and disorders.
“Everything happens for a reason,” said Jackie. “Moving into my new premises together with my ability to help people through the difficult times ahead has helped me to gain one of my life ambitions and I’m delighted to be able to put my skills to good use.”
