New Print Shop in Historic Dawsonville, Georgia

Dawsonville -- Free-Press-Release.com-- Oct 6, 2011 -- I am proud to announce that Russell A. Grace opened Dawsonville Printing Services in September of 2011 in the historic town of Dawsonville, GA. As the owner/operator of what I call "DPS" it has always been a dream to be self-employed. For some reason life has always driven me towards the printing industry. Studying commercial art in vocational school to graduating Louisville Technical Institute with a degree in mechanical drafting in 1993, I have had a long connection with commercial art and the technical field. After working in the industry of printer repair and maintenance for the last 10 years, I realized that it would fun and profitable for me to run my own print shop and realizing the dream of being self employed.

Due to recent events with my family, and looking for a way to continue the family motto "were to good for this place" , my mother made the investment to start DPS. She said "I would be the one to start it and run it, while she continues to run the family business, Grace Bindings". Unsure about the economy and whether our town really needed a print shop in the historic district we started DPS anyway. My family and I really love the area of Dawsonville, GA and realized the historic district could use some diversity, and the convenience of a print shop close by. We are all about keeping it local.

The response in the local community so far has been very positive and I will continue to do the best job I can to service the area with professionalism, and a friendly environment when you enter the store. I usually have fresh coffee available to all who come in, it's free. You can use the free WIFI that is always up and running as well. Sit outside on the bench and surf the web on your ipad or droid. I maybe putting in a park bench next to the building for anyone who wants to sit down in the shade and surf. I hope to see you.

What DPS does...
I consider myself to be well-rounded and fairly educated who's knows quite a bit about web marketing and design, graphic arts and printing. Time and technology is always against me though, especially when it comes to internet technology and the dynamic nature of the software we all use, but I know enough to post this PR, design my own web site, make it SEF (search engine friendly), market it in all the major search engines and even maintain a SQL database. So I can provide web design service to you and do my best to design you a great site and secure it. Whether its a site for selling products or a simple brochure site to display basic business information, it will be SEF and posted on online for all to see. If you need printing completed I can print or copy just about any size document in BW. Print or copy in color up to 11"x17". So if you need large format drawings printed or copied up to 36" x 48" in BW, I can do it for you. I cannot print wide format in color yet! Now, one of the tools I do have is the ability to digitize in full color up to 36" wide to PDF, JPEG or TIFF, which I believe is the only public scanner that large in the area (with the exception of county and city offices), so take advantage. I can laminate and bind documents for presentations or menus for your new restaurant, sell you customized holiday cards, work order forms, business cards or any type of stationary you could need for your business.
