New Project Engineer Joins Rayotek Scientific Inc.

Rayotek Scientific Inc. welcomes Matthew Ball as their new Business Development Manager and Associate Staff Engineer.

(Free-Press-Release.com) April 23, 2010 -- SAN DIEGO, California—April 22—Rayotek Scientific Inc. welcomes Matthew Ball as their new Business Development Manager and Associate Staff Engineer.

Matthew brings extensive experience to the areas of business processes and engineering practices vital to Rayotek’s evolution to its next phase. Matthew will be implementing a company wide Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP ) System. In addition, he will play a critical role in taking the company from AS9003 to full-scale ISO:9001 compliance and certification.

“With increasing demand for Rayotek’s services, business processes and infrastructure play key roles in ensuring that customer needs are consistently met. Matthew definitely brings the skills to take us to the next level” said Bill Raggio, Rayotek’s founder and CTO.

Prior to joining Rayotek, Matthew worked for Cymer and Toshiba MRI, world leaders in the fields of semi-conductor manufacturing equipment and medical imaging. At Cymer Matthew was responsible for leading multi-million dollar projects from project definition through customer implementation. Projects resulted in significant benefits to key customers by providing processing performance improvements and reductions in cost of ownership. Previously, he was Mechanical Engineering Manager of Toshiba MRI. At Toshiba, Matthew led the Mechanical Engineering Team and developed products to improve patient imaging functionality and accuracy by leading the development of Toshiba’s first motorized patient couch.
Matthew is a graduate of the University of Westminster, London and obtained a Batchelor of Engineering degree, with honors, in Mechanical Engineering.
