Food safety is one of the prime concerns in any retail environment and ensuring compliance within industry is key to success. A food safety accredited training certificate can have positive influences on individuals within the retail industry. Taking this into consideration Accredited Food Hygiene Online™ has launched new courses for the Retail sector.

There are 2 levels of food safety courses. Level 1 course is the basic level and suited to those individuals who are new to this industry and want a basic level of understanding. Level 2 is more advanced and includes modules such as the importance of food safety, personal hygiene, safe cleaning and use of chemicals, food safety hazards and temperature control and safe food storage. The course materials abide by the revision of HACCP which was done in 2006 and is accredited by CPD.

The course fee charged by Accredited Food Hygiene Online™ for the Retail Level 2 is only £24.50 and it takes only 2.5 hours to complete the course and get a certification from the website. The trainees are given an examination that is compliant with industry standards. There are a range of 30 multiple choice questions from a list of 90 questions. If the trainee can get 20 answers correct (obtain 66%) then they will be issued with an accredited certificate.

The Food safety course Level 2 is intended for professionals working in all types of retail environment which include small and large food shops, supermarkets, wholesalers, petrol stations and kiosks, etc.
