About the Baldirama Restaurant Group

The Baldirama Restaurant Group's first concept, the original Texican Cafe on Manchaca Road, began serving hungry Austinites in south Austin in 1988. Seven years later, they opened their second concept, Cafe 1626, a family-oriented south Austin eatery. Before too long, the "North Austin Renaissance" began and the Texican Cafe responded by adding its second Texican Cafe location near Lakeline Mall.
