Monday, February 13th 2012 - Columbus, OH - What would you do if you had all the time and all the money you needed to do it? We all have the same 24 hours every day, 7 days a week, etc. One problem most of us have is that to provide for ourselves and those we love, we have to trade a lot of our time for money. It’s called a job. There is absolutely nothing wrong with having a job. It is just that having one limits both the time and money you have available. One of the first things to ask yourself is the question at the beginning of this paragraph. Another way to ask that is , “What is your ‘why’?” Your why is what you would do if you could be totally in control of making that happen.

What would you do if you knew how to make all the money you need or want? Your “why” will probably be more than making enough money to pay off all your bills, get a new car, buy your dream home or even quit your job. All these are great things when they happen, but they don’t get you far enough. When you have accomplished all of these, then what will you do?

Your “why” might be allowing your family to live where and how you want, in the kind of house you want to live in, with the ability to do what you want, including travel if that is your dream. Your “why”might be securing not only your financial future, but that of your loved ones-forever. Now, that’s something you can sink your teeth into. That is something to be committed to.

My “why” encompasses some of these and has two specific things I want to accomplish. I want to help as many people as I can become successful--whatever that means for them. I also want to live what is called a 90/10 life. We want to eventually live on 10% of our money and give away 90%. We’re not nearly there yet, but that is something I will spend the rest of my life working on obtaining. What is your “why?”
