New Television Series "DTLA" set to release April 27th, 2012

Relative Newcomer, Ernest Pierce is set to co-star in the new television series created by Larry Kennar as Stefan Braxton a powerhouse lawyer working in Downtown, Los Angeles. Ernest Pierce[b/], better known from roles as Mr. Crackhead in the Wayans Bros comedy "Dance Flick", the film Homewreckeras Donovan and originally introduced as Rachel's Dad in the hit television series Glee as Leroy Berry will be co-starring in this new dramatic series.

According to Out Magazine, Outtv "no relation has decided to pick up the new television show for their new season. "“OUTtv is committed to the development of new dramatic TV series that tell the stories of the LGBT community,” the network told us. According to Out Magazine Online.

Additionally, "The show, which is shot in what creators call a “European” style—meaning way more sexy scenes than you might be used to—features familiar faces including Stephens (Noah's Arc), Danny Roberts (The Real World), Erin Daniels (The L Word), Tiffany Pollard (I Love New York), Luenell (Borat), Julie Goldman (Big Gay Sketch Show), Internet superstar B. Scott, William McNamara (Doing Time On Maple Drive) and Leslie Jordan (Will & Grace), and is mostly improvised, based on stories from the creators’ lives."

The television show follows the story of seven friends living in Downtown, Los Angeles and the challenges that they all encounter with love, sex, violence and friendship. The non-stereotypical straight/gay/bisexual/trans-gender environment that we hear so much in traditional television. "DTLA, is out this spring, and as Larry Kennar says, it's best described as "a cross between Queer As Folk and Swingers." He tells me it is the first gay drama to come out in seven years. His producing credits include 50 First Dates, Barbershop, Spring Breakdown, The L Word, and Queens of Drag: NYC.

This up and coming actor is no newcomer to the screen. Ernest Pierce has studied performing arts over the past 15 years, not only excelling in acting; Mr. Pierce has a background in musical theater, dance and choreography.
