Johannesburg International Motor Show Basic Information

Johannesburg International Motor Show is the single largest international automotive event in Southern Africa. Many great Brands of cars will represent their latest types of cars at the show, lighting your eyes. The great brands Volkswagen will also appear at the JHB Motor Show 2011. The 2011 show will take place at Johannesburg Expo Centre, Johannesburg, South Africa during October 8 - 16, 2011.

Volkswagen South Africa will present the new Beetle and Golf Cabriolet at the 2011 Johannesburg International Motor Show. As one of the Johannesburg International Motor Show 2011's highlights, the Volkswagen commercial vehicles presents the new crafter and the 20 Volkswagen cars on show on 2 184 sq.m. exhibition stand in Hall 6.

Volkswagen at Johannesburg International Motor Show

Volkswagen's theme at the 2011 Johannesburg International Motor Show is Think Blue, which is a philosophy that encompasses the Brand's BlueMotion Technologies - fuel saving and low carbon dioxide emitting vehicles and fostering partnerships with environmental organisations. Part of the booth will exclusively exhibit five models that currently carry the BlueMotion and BlueMotion Technology badges, namely Touareg, Tiguan, Volkswagen CC, Polo and Golf.

Meanwhile, Volkswagen will exhibit their latest designed commercial vehicles --- new Crafter at its stand in Hall 5. The new Crafter, which sports a new front end design, now boasts a loading capacity ranging between 9m3 and 17m3. It will be introduced with two cleaner and innovative new common rail 4-cylinder 2.0 TDI 80kW and 2.0 BiTDI 120kW engines.
