new web site for zazen practice

(Free-Press-Release.com) February 1, 2011 -- A new website www.zazenpractice.co.uk is under construction .It is a unique website that will tell of the life of Bill Picard a English hermit that lived on the cliffs of Cornwall, after the second world war.He spent 2 years meditating on his own,On his death 2 years ago he asked that his story be told. The website will also tell of encounters and the teaching of the late Ikko Naraski Roshi,a little known teacher,of Soto Zen Buddhism, from Japan,who was the Abbott os Zuoiji Temple, and the Vice Abbott of Eihiji Temple.

The aim will be to throw light on Soto zen practice of zazen, or shikantaza ,gentle meditation practice. It is hoped that yhe stories told will offer encouragement,to all people in all circumstances of life.
