New website and new projects at Camps International

March 21, 2011

Celebrating the Launch of their new website, Camps International have launched their new Newsletter that will include the latest news from all their locations and info on new volunteering projects.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) March 21, 2011 -- Camps International are celebrating the launch of their new website ( www.campsinternational.com ) and the ongoing success of their volunteering projects by releasing their new newsletter that will keep everyone up-to-date with the projects that are taking place at their camps across the globe. Recently the volunteers completed and handed over a total of 8 traditional houses built for the elderly people in Muhaka, Kenya. A video of this handing over ceremony can be found on their website in the Camps TV section.

The new website offers a whole host of new photos, new videos, easier navigation and more useful information on all of the activities volunteers can expect to be involved with during their trip. There is also an exciting and unique new social feature that provides more ways for volunteers to get in contact with each other and with us. Volunteers can also now blog about their experiences so that their friends and family can keep up-to-date with them during their time away.

Camps International are the only expedition provider that own, manage and operate 15 permanent and exclusive camps in their destination countries. This means that they maximise the benefits to the people and wildlife that need it most by committing year round to their projects and enables them to offer unrivalled safety systems on all of their trips.

“The new website really showcases our programmes in a much simpler way, which will help our volunteers find the projects that will be best suited to them. There are so many experiences out there now that gap year students can often get overwhelmed, but we offer a great mix of community, wildlife and cultural experiences that are truly unique to the industry!” – Hattie, Camps International .

In addition to the opportunity to volunteer for FREE, volunteers have the opportunity to gain 70 UCAS points through their participation in any of the Gap programmes – another reason to get involved and all the details can be found on the site.
