Volunteers of America Michigan has been helping people in Michigan since it was founded in 1896, over 115 years ago. An average of 88% of donations directly assists people who are struggling with homelessness, addiction, joblessness and difficulties stemming from a challenging economy.

Car donations help fund a wide variety of programs developed to help Michigan residents who are in need. Vehicle donations are accepted state-wide. All Michigan car donations made to Volunteers of America Michigan will help fund Michigan programs. These include emergency food and shelter programs, homeless shelters, veterans programs, job placement, senior housing, youth programs and recovery programs for those suffering from addictions.

With the Volunteers of America car donation program, donors receive the maximum deduction possible under IRS car donation rules, when the donation is itemized on a tax return.
