New World Landing in Pensacola, Florida will kick-off the Mardi Gras weekend with a Jazz Lunch Buffet featuring live jazz by the Dixieland Dandies.

Pensacola, Florida, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) February 2, 2012 -- Pensacola, Florida – New World Landing will kick off Mardi Gras weekend Friday February 17th with a Jazz Lunch. The event will feature a traditional New Orlean’s style lunch buffet including dishes such as Creole Jambalaya, Chicken Etouffee, Corn and Gouda Grits, Southern BBQ Pork & Brisket. There will be live jazz music provided by recording artists The Dixieland Dandies.

The Jazz Lunch will start at 11:30 AM and be available until 4:00 PM with music and drink specials continuing on into the night. The event will be held in the 600 South Atrium and Bar. New World Landing is located at 600 S. Palafox which is part of the parade route for the Krewe of Lafitte Illuminated Parade.

The buffet will be $9.95 per person and there will be a cash bar. The New World Landing complex also includes a boutique hotel, an alternative to driving home after the evening’s festivities.
