New York City Home Stager Elected to Board of Local Staging Association

Manhattan, New York, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) January 8, 2012 -- Donna Dazzo, President of Designed to Appeal, a home staging and interior redesign company in Manhattan, New York, was recently elected to serve as Treasurer on the Board of the local chapter of the Real Estate Staging Association (RESA), a member-governed organization for Home Stagers in North America.

The 26 members of the local chapter are primarily home stagers based mostly in New York City, with some members hailing from Westchester, Connecticut and Long Island. The members were called upon to vote for a slate of officers and a Director of Membership.

Dazzo was the incumbent Treasurer and was elected to serve a on the local chapter’s Board for the 2011-2012 fiscal year.
The responsibilities of the Treasurer include custody of the funds of the chapter and handling the chapter’s banking needs. As part of this responsibility, the Treasurer regularly reviews the chapter’s expenditures and financial status to ensure overall fiscal integrity.

The Real Estate Staging Association (RESA) is a member- governed trade association for Home Stagers. RESA was formed in order to support all professional real estate stagers also known as home stagers in North America. RESA is a portal to the home staging industry and is a source of education and business tools focusing on the needs of home stagers. Members create chapters in their area which serve as a resource for their local real estate community.

Dazzo has been a member of RESA and its local New York City Chapter since 2008, and served as Treasurer for the fiscal 2010-2011 period. “I am honored to have been elected again to the position of Treasurer”, Dazzo said. “Since I have custody of chapter funds, this is an indication of the members’ trust in me”.
