New York State Board of Education Supervisor Speaks in Support of Abusive Facility

(Free-Press-Release.com) May 8, 2010 -- In mid-May 2010, a Campaign run by former students of a boarding school in upstate New York released an investigation in which they have evidence showing that a NYS Board of Education supervisor is supporting and helping to cover up for the school that has a thirty year history of abusing children.
The campaign was started to expose the truth about the cruel and illegal abuses that occur at The Family Foundation School in Hancock, NY. They have over 70 testimonials from alumni, alumni parents, former staff, and friends of alumni.

In the investigation, Thomas Hogan, the Director of Non Public Schools, spoke at a Family Foundation School sponsored event in New York City. In the investigation the campaign claims shows the invitations and requirements for the event. Thomas Hogan allegedly made speech at the dinner where he told the audience that he would never take the Family Foundation School's regents accreditation away and stated that he refused to cooperate in an investigation to close down the abusive facility.

Hogan stated twice in the past twenty years he was approached by government agencies that wanted to conduct an extensive investigation into the Family Foundation School, but he refused to participate. Hogan is the only person in New York State that can take the Family Foundation School's Regents Charter from them.

The Family Foundation School is accused of abusing children over the past thirty years in the most perverse and horrible ways. Students claim they were subjected to physical abuse, emotional abuse, sexual abuse, and mental abuse all in the name of "treatment". Since these claims, the Family Foundation School called alumni liars and "bullies" and has attempted to quiet the bad publicity and abuse claims by posting positive testimonials from students who are still imprisoned in their facility.
Every staff member of The Family Foundation School is a mandated reporter of abuse, yet no staff has reported any abuse.
