Nissan North American, Inc. reported 56,288 units sold over the 46,605 units sold last year. Division sales were up 29.9 percent for the month. In an effort to ensure constituent global sales reporting, Nissan North America figures monthly variances on a straight-percentage basis, not adjusting for the number of selling days. November actually had 23 selling days this year, two less that the 25 selling days in November 2008.
Compilation sales for all Nissan vehicles totaled 50,644 units in November compared to 38,974 in November 2008. This is a 29.9 percent increase.

Nissan Division sales rose by 41.6 percent this year and truck sales were up 11.7 percent this November over November 2008. Models with significant increases in sales were Maxima, which saw a sales growth of 83.8 percent; Altima, which was up 43.1 percent from last year; Frontier, gaining 71.4 percent in 2009; and Xterra, which rose 50.9 percent. In the Infiniti Division, total November 2009 sales reached 5,644 units which was a decrease of 26 percent from 7,631 units sold last November. The G Coupe finished with 1,186 vehicles sold, up 23.3 percent from the 962 in November 2008 sales. The FX also gained, 13.6 percent, with 776 units sold in November 2009, up from the 683 a year ago.
