Consumer tools featured on TripDucky.com include step-by-step tutorials teaching users how to bid using Priceline’s “Name Your Own Price” feature and an auto-generated rebid chart. Previous Priceline wins are posted in both a forum and calendar format allowing users to compare winning bids with their own. Additional support from website administration is also available through email.

Joanna Pearl, President and CEO of TripDucky.com, created the site after searching for a way to fulfill her desire to travel. Turned off by high prices, she began to explore alternatives such as Priceline.com. “I didn’t know how to bid, what a good bid was, or if I would like the selection they gave me,” said Pearl. “So I started to develop tools to help myself and in the process I learned that I wasn’t the only one with this problem.”

TripDucky.com is working on expanding their tools to include help for more travel vendors in 2010.
