Starting from central Delhi “Cannaught Place” Aarti covered all the major parts of the Capital where there were Metro facilities and spoke to the women commuters.
With the celebrations of 31st December i.e. New Year’s eve the city sparkled with the gleam of joy and enthusiasm. But this did not hide the subconscious fear from the faces of the women commuters.
Some said that the subways where they feared going during the dark hours and some said that the police booths were not even half as much as are required in the capital. Some even said that though metro is thought to be safe but there are crimes which are taking place only at the metro stations. There were women who were not even ready to face the camera and give their views fearing fact of being recognized.
