New Brisbane-based online advertising networking forum, AdFutures, to debate issues surrounding online advertising.
Edgevertise, a Brisbane based online advertising company, will be organising AdFutures, a monthly breakfast event for online advertisers, publishers and agencies aimed at discussing what works and what doesn't in the varied and often confusing world of online ads.

http://www.adfutures.org/ The first Edgevertise AdFutures Event was held in Melbourne on Saturday, 11th of December and attracted a small but engaged initial audience, debating 'Why Banner Ads Don't Work!', the topic for the event.
A second event is scheduled for Brisbane on the 15th of December at Level 1, 80 Jephson Street, Toowong, Queensland, from 7am-9am. The Brisbane event will tackle the same topic of 'Why Banner Ads Don't Work!' led by a panel of experts, followed by an open discussion.
On the panel will be Monte Huebsch, 'The Google Guru' and the first Queensland Authorised Google Reseller and AdWords Qualified Company; Dr Mark Brown, Senior Lecturer in Marketing at the UQ Business School specialising in online advertising and promotion and internet marketing strategy; and Roop K Bhadury, founder and CEO of Edgevertise, the online advertising company behind AdFutures.
“Online advertising is booming at the moment, but it is difficult to work out what the best strategies are, either as an advertiser, or as a publisher looking to derive advertising revenue. The field is changing rapidly, and this change is set to accelerate.
