NIFS Parking Lot Relocated Due to NCAA Expansion

(Free-Press-Release.com) April 19, 2010 -- On May 3, 2010, the NCAA will break ground on their new building, a 130,000 square foot expansion directly to the east of NIFS. The staging and construction of this large project will result in a relocation of the NIFS parking lot.

Both short-term and long-term parking needs at NIFS are in the process of being addressed. NIFS short-term parking solution from May 3 to early August, 2010 is as follows:

1.120 parking spaces will be constructed directly across the street from NIFS in a fenced area. This will be a dedicated NIFS lot and will accommodate most of NIFS parking needs through the summer.
2.Overflow spaces will be available in the Sports Complex garage (across the street from NIFS, next to the Natatorium) during some of our week-day peak evening hours.

says NIFS president, Jerry Taylor. “We will continue to work with them on details for a convenient long-term parking solution.”

NIFS expects parking accommodations to improve as they progress through this stage of growth in the surrounding area.
