(Free-Press-Release.com) June 8, 2011 --In E3 2011, Nintendo released the new Nintendo console – Wii U. And The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword debuted in E3 too.
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is being marketed as a turning point for the series in terms of look and gameplay.
Stunning lighting, fantastic textures and excellent animation are just the broad strengths of this demo. Moreover, Nintendo manages to retain an established style, Twilight Princess, even while transitioning to HD.
One of the first things that is being brought up as a gameplay element is that there are stronger motion controls because of the Wii MotionPlus. This is applied to the sword, shield but other items like the bow and arrow, whip, bombs and other things that can be used as weapons or for item gathering.
To add some puzzle and strategy to regular battles, the enemy AI has been improved to actually adapt and try to defend itself based on your movements.
The look of the graphics - rather than being a cell-shaded cutesy mess that was Wind Waker - are being made to look more like a painting. The effect is beautiful. You can see the pictures.
