FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) January 19, 2012 --
Just like actual cars, nitro rc cars emit sounds and fumes. On the other hand, electric rc cars do not make noise and fumes. Nevertheless, both these sections should be maintained properly. Before every run, they must be checked whether their tyres are in proper condition and whether any damages on the body exist as well as on other parts. The wires of radio control cars have to be checked carefully whether they are connected with the batteries properly. If the radio control cars have adjustable shocks, it is advisable to check them to decide whether the presently used shocks are suitable for the terrain on which they are to run.
After running the daily course, before storing the rc cars, oiling them properly is good for their longevity. If the oiling is not done properly, the chemical reaction in the piston part of the machine would make out substances that may decay the piston and the engine. Normally, many radio control cars get defects due to insufficient oiling leading to permanent damages. Nitro rc cars are generally very expensive; putting them to damages in this way must be condemned since they can be avoided if little attention is paid to basic maintenance elements.
Then, the slipper gear and the motor should be given special attention. They should be properly aligned to avoid acceleration of wear. The proper alignment has to be maintained from the beginning. Normally the space of these two parts should not widen more than the thickness of a paper. If these parts get loose, many put some LocTite between them and retighten them properly. When making them to jump and leap they should be of steady balance and speed. Otherwise, imbalance and unsteady steering notion may crash them beyond repair. In the same way, when electric RC cars are used for sometime, electric damages may occur and the smell of burning wires will be noticed. The users should be alert to these smells to avoid further damages.
Every RC car has a manufacturer’s manual and on it, the way it should be maintained is described. These instructions should be followed somehow if a user needs to have sound operation with their rc cars. Before storing, the fuel of the rc cars should be removed and the car should be cleaned well. Then it should be oiled properly. The cleaning can be done with a damped piece of cloth. While cleaning, it is advisable to note any damaged parts and whether they should be replaced. If they have to be replaced, make it before reusing and always use genuine parts as well.
