NJ Nissan dealer reviews earthquake relief

The strength of one’s character can often be measured by actions in the face of challenges and adversity. After the recent earthquake and tsunami in Japan, Nissan stepped up and showed their true character in a big way! Your favorite NJ Nissan dealer was proud to be a part of these relief efforts at the global, regional, and local level.
Nissan’s contributions started with a $1 million pledge to the American Red Cross. This support will come from Nissan America, which includes U.S., Canada, Mexico, Brazil and Latin America. An immediate $500,000 donation was also made to support efforts on the ground.
After the disasters, Nissan employees, retirees, dealers, suppliers and customers were able to donate through an online site and Nissan promised to match, dollar for dollar, total contributions up to $500,000. Your local Staten Island used Nissan dealer has been proud to participate in this manner!
Other donations from Nissan include 50 vehicles to support aid agencies in the affected areas of Japan. In total, Nissan’s global contributions will reach $3.75 million thanks to global and regional corporate donations as well as employee gift matching programs.
