No Sweat-FX anti-condensation paint and RT-23 radiant barrier paint stops condensation and saves energy

December 6, 2009

No Sweat-FX, a unique water based paint that prevents condensation on any surface, is now available in white or black colors.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) December 6, 2009 -- No Sweat-FX paint made by Robson Thermal Mfg. Ltd. has been used to prevent condensation on cold surfaces since 1992 including on cold water pipes, chilled water pipes and equipment, concrete walls and ceilings, inside metal buildings, on air conditioned ducts in commercial and industrial buildings, inside Navy ships, on cooling coil drip pans, inside electrical and switch gear enclosures, and by large organizations such as Consolidated Edison of New York, BC Hydro, ABB Inc, City of Hong Kong, IBM, and General Electric. No Sweat-FX is non-toxic and non-flammable - wet and dry.

Before applying No Sweat-FX, you should paint metal surfaces with Robson's RT-23 to reflect radiant heat and to prevent future rust or corrosion from developing and bleeding thru to the surface of the No Sweat-FX. (Such bleeding thru will not affect the performance of No Sweat-FX but it will affect the appearance.) Then apply 2 to 3 coats of No Sweat-FX and let it dry to touch between coats (apply like paint at a rate of 130 sq.ft. per gallon for each coat, or about 15 mil thick per coat). You can speed up the drying process by blowing air on it after each coat of No Sweat-FX has been applied. Cold surfaces must be free of condensation during application of RT-23 and No Sweat-FX and for at least 24 hours after application is completed.

After the last coat of No Sweat-FX is dry to touch, let it cure for at least 24 hours before operating the system at temperatures below the dew point.

Generally, your coverage for No Sweat-FX will be about 65 sq.ft. per gallon after you apply 2 coats (130 sq.ft. per gallon per coat), or if you use the Alternate Method using 10 Ounce Canvas as described in the data sheets.

(Please note, use of RT-23 is optional. If the heat reflective properties that RT-23 provides is not required then you can just paint the metal surface with any paint or primer suitable for metal before applying No Sweat-FX.)
