Noh setting his US sights high

The 2010 Asian Tour No 1 earned his US PGA Tour card at Qualifying School at the end of last year, and in doing so he realised his childhood dream of earning the right to compete against the biggest stars of the game.

"I have been dreaming of playing on the PGA Tour ever since I discovered golf and this year my dream will begin coming true.

"I am really looking forward to it. I can hardly wait for my first PGA tournament," said Noh as he headed into next week's Sony Open at the Waialae Country Club in Honolulu.

He won his first professional title in China in 2008 to become the Asian Tour's Rookie of the Year and subsequently became the region's youngest ever number one by lifting the Asian Tour's Order of Merit crown courtesy of a popular victory at the Maybank Malaysian Open.

He believes his experience on the Asian Tour has well prepare him for the challenges that lie ahead in America.

He said this week: "I have experiences with many type of grasses out there, so the Asian Tour was a good base. From now on, I feel I can fashion a new chapter in my Titleist Scotty Cameron Buttonback Putter," Noh said.
